John 15 is one of my favorite passages, and I’ve committed it to memory, and often think about what Jesus says there. I hadn’t considered the “peace” aspect of pruning before – but you’re right – simplifying life often leads to greater peace inside, and makes it more likely that we will hear the Lord when He speaks to us, and have the time to respond when He calls.
